What an enjoyable meal! With its simple shop-front, it’s easy to dismiss this unassuming spot as just another roasted meat joint. But we were in for a real treat! Their signature jade green noodles are lightly seasoned with soy sauce, letting the vibrant color of the noodles shine. The roasted meats were all really tender—even the chicken and duck breasts. The roasted chicken skin had a nice aroma, and the char siu (BBQ pork) is an absolute MUST. It’s perfectly charred and literally melts in your mouth. We couldn't resist the or kueh (yam cake) and chwee kueh (steamed rice cake) too. Both were awesome: the yam cake with actual chunks of yam and topped with a generous amount of dried shrimp and shallots, while the soft rice cakes were loaded with savory chai poh (preserved radish).
