Lei Cha and Nasi Ulam under one roof! 😍 Lei Cha (RM9) is a traditional Hakka dish featuring rice topped with assorted vegetables, roasted peanuts, and most importantly, a light, pesto-like refreshing soup to pour over top. The herbaceous taste of the soup isn't for everyone, but I LOVE it ❤️. I was so excited to spot boxes of Lei Cha here—a rare find in Penang! It's amazing how simple vegetables and rice can be so tasty, especially paired with the nourishing, refreshing soup. Nasi Ulam (RM9), another of my favorites, is also available here! 🤩 This traditional Nyonya/Malay rice dish mixes various super finely chopped herbs like lemongrass, torch ginger flower, kaffir lime leaves, shredded coconut, and more. The version here is so colorful and pretty 😍—I can't believe even lil' boss enjoyed it! That's not all! The lady boss also sells chickpeas (RM5), jelly, and more!
