Brings back memories of the old Mahkota Parade food court in its prime! Back when it first opened, Mahkota was the place to be in Melaka, and the food court was always crowded. Our ultimate combo was the claypot chicken rice—still the best to this day—finished off with a bowl of Cendol (shaved ice with green jelly strips) or ABC/ice kacang (shaved ice packed with hidden gems underneath). Eventually, the food court quieted down and our favorite stalls vanished 😩... until now! This new spot recreates the nostalgic experience we’ve been missing 🎉🥳 🥚 Claypot Chicken Rice (RM10, +RM1 veggies): Tastes exactly like old times! Super fragrant, moist without being soggy, and amazingly tender chicken 😋. 🍨 Cendol (RM6) & ABC (RM7): Hands down still the best. Really fine shaved ice and, most importantly, the super fragrant Gula Melaka that seriously sets it apart from all others 🤤. This is the spot for any Malaccan craving a taste of yesteryear 🫶❤️.
