Astaka Hillside Tanjong Bungah
Yes, finally found Teochew Mee Tiao 🎉
As a Hokkien, I've never heard of Teochew Mee Tiao (炒潮州面条) until recently 😅. I've been on a lookout for it ever since. At last, found this stall operated by a family that sells only 2 things - mee tiao and meat rolls. Was talking to the dad, mee tiao is a rare dish not commonly available as it's not easy to perfect it and the noodle needs to be fried with pork lard to be tasty. The noodle came in a super cute paper box with meat rolls and sambal. It was flavourful with a nice chew and served piping hot. The hei bee (dried shrimp) sambal goes perfectly with it.
👍👍 for my first Teochew Mee Tiao experience 😄
