From a humble pushcart to a shop of their own, decades of hard work have made this charcoal Char Koay Teow legendary—drawing crazy long queues.

I rolled up just before 12 PM while the owner was still setting up, scored a table, and landed lucky number 4—I even caught a photo without the crowd 🤣! Once the wok was lit, we queued up by number to order.

To keep things moving, they use two clever tricks:

• Self-Service: You order, wait right at the frying station, and carry your own treasure back.
• Simple Menu: Just 3 options! No egg (RM9), Regular with egg (RM10), and Large with egg (RM13).

Although he fries in batches, the boss gives each plate a special final touch: cracking an egg over it for those last few tosses. This final touch gives the wok hei-filled ckt an outstanding creaminess!
