The most popularMalay Kopitiam ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พโ˜•? Tucked next to the Octopus Bridge, this place serves major retro kampung vibes and is always packed with a long queue. Not one to wait in line, I decided an early, rainy morning was the best time to check it outโ€”and I was right! ๐Ÿ˜„ Lontong Telur Bilis (RM8.90): Compressed rice in a yellow coconut vegetable curry, served with nasi lemak anchovy sambal. Iโ€™ve been eyeing this for the longest time (itโ€™s been at least a decade since I last had it). It has the perfect creaminess and a delicious fishy umami from the sambal. A very filling craving-satisfier! ๐Ÿ˜‹ Roti Jala Chicken Curry (RM7.90): As one of my all-time favorites, I had to try it. The soft, tender, net-like roti paired with the thick chicken curry was the perfect combo. Roti Bakar Arang Mentega (RM7.50):- Toasted charcoal bread with margarine. A bit disappointed as it was dry with hardly any fillings ๐Ÿ˜ž All in all, itโ€™s the perfect spot to sample traditional Malay dishes in comfort ๐Ÿ˜€
