The malaiko / brown sugar cake is soft, fluffy, rich caramel taste but not sweet. You’ll need more than 1 box 😋
Also love the fried dough. Unlike most stalls that fry the dough on the spot, theirs are ready fried but still so good. The hum ji peng is thin and light, not doughy. Both the red bean and salted versions are good, I prefer the later.
They also have fried dough with sticky rice, sesame balls and pak tong kou / steamed rice cake.
Love that everything is less sweet.
