Found a new hack for nasi lemak bungkus 🤣 I must be a true blue Malaysian as there're few things I like more than nasi lemak. Especially those wrapped in banana leaves. Undeniably this is the most famous nasi lemak in Penang. Visited by locals, tourists and even Youtubers like Mark Wiens. Unlike some of the fancier versions, this one is basic - just coconut rice + 1 topping + plenty of fiery sambal wrapped in banana leaf. With every component done to perfection, it's so addictive. Now for my accidental hack 😅 - steam it up as is in the banana leaf. Enjoying it warm is a whole new experience 😄. - Nasi lemak ikan (fish) + egg : RM3 + RM0.60 (for 1/2 an egg)
