Simple, with an extra dose of nostalgia. Tucked along Jalan Dato Keramat, this coffee shop has literally frozen in time. With its aged cement flooring, classic white-tiled walls, well-used round marble tables, and old clocks, it is one of the few remaining authentic, old-school coffee shops. What makes this place really interesting is its minimal menu: just kaya (coconut jam) toast, half-boiled eggs, and kopitiam drinks. The uncle who runs the shop alone shared that it takes him two days to make each batch of kaya—what incredible dedication!
